Live A Entrepreneurs Lifestyle

Every so often I read or hear comments about entrepreneurship that gets under my skin.

I know many beginning entrepreneurs know what I am talking about, the person maybe going through something in their life that causes them to come across as negative, but has no way to back up their argument.

Not a few days ago I read a post that was negative towards entrepreneurship, however it did make me think about the point the author of the post was trying to address.

The post was about making money online and marketing professionals. I got the impression that the post was saying that persons who decides to make money online or become apart of the marketing professional industry where not actual entrepreneurs.

The post title went something like this: “Real Entrepreneurs Avoid Marketing Professional Companies”. Of course it was more to the post than just the title but because of the length of the post I thought the title was enough said.

This post did have me questioning: what constitutes as an entrepreneur?

What is an Entrepreneur?

In my mind a entrepreneur is a person who does not work for someones company to make money, but work for themselves to make money.

My first time being introduce to having a business I was sixteen and it was to sell health and wellness products to help people with certain illnesses and weight loss. The consumer buys the products I make money I am know in business for myself everybody’s a winner.

DEFINITION of ‘Entrepreneur’ An individual who, rather than working as an employee, runs a small business and assumes all the risk and reward of a given business venture, idea, or good or service offered for sale. The entrepreneur is commonly seen as a business leader and innovator of new ideas and business processes.

Am I an Entrepreneur

After getting a real definition of what a entrepreneur is, I thought does this qualify me as an entrepreneur?

Yes it does, the definition is clear, however different minds do not all think alike. Someone may see this definition as another meaning.

I think of myself as an lifestyle entrepreneur. I have a small business that allows me to make money without working for someone and be able to do the things I want to do.

It’s not the traditional brick and mortar where you have to be at a certain location everyday all day, but it makes money the same way.

I do not listen to the criticizers people who say that being a marketing professional is not an entrepreneur.

Most brick and mortar business is just that, the person who owns the company is the only person making all the profit for their business and the employees get paid what the company is able to pay them. The helping people part is out of the equation.

Think about all the traditional start up businesses that have people working incredibly hard for them to keep their business successful, but how does this help the employee when there is no way to ever be able to invest in the company you work for.

The traditional business owners is only doing it for the preservation of themselves, thats fine it is nothing wrong with the choice they are making to have a certain quality of life they want, but to try and say being a marketing professional and making money online is not a real entrepreneur doesn’t make any kind of sense at all.

Dangers of Selling A Dream

I believe this is what the post I read was trying to convey. Many marketing professionals sell information online that teaches people how to make money, but most of the systems suck and the consumer feel duped.

I have spent a couple of years of my life learning how to make money online and one of the most important things I learned was to be a information provider. I found that information is an excellent way to make money online by showing and helping others.

If it was not for the information providers I would not know what I know about making money online nor would I have come as far as I am today. Teach a man to fish and he will never go hungry. Give a man a fish and he will surely starve to death.

Being a marketing professional is a skilled learned that can provide you and you family generational wealth, after all we all can’t use our talents to make money. Once you have mastered the skills you can use your new found power however you want.

It is a wonderful feeling that I helped people to get to the point that they can take care of themselves without depending on their job for the rest of their life simply by providing information. This only works if you can give the information to the people who want to know how they can live the entrepreneur lifestyle.

Is entrepreneurship right for everyone? of course not, but for those who absolutely not just want to live a financial free life but need it, it works for them mainly because they are not afraid to invest in themselves because they know they are worth it.

How is traditional business different.

It is much more expensive, it depends on location to make money and it takes many employees to run it. A non traditional business is way more less expensive, more targeted and practical, however both can improve the quality of life.

If you feel that this post is worthy of a comment thank you
